Greeley-Evans School District 6 joins our entire community in mourning the death of John W. Haefeli, an educator, coach, Board of Education Director, community advocate and true champion of public education. John was an outspoken supporter of students and staff in District 6, a true philanthropist and mentor who positively impacted the lives of countless students during his career.

John was an outspoken supporter of students and staff in District 6, a true philanthropist and mentor who positively impacted the lives of countless students during his career. He was always an educator, and took great pride in recruiting others into public education careers. We lost a kind, thoughtful, intelligent man this weekend. John W. Haefeli, you will truly be missed. Thank you for all you did for District 6. Tight lines, Mr. Haefeli!
